Incident support, customer complaint handling and investigations You may get involved in a serious food safety or health and safety incident and require support. You may have received complaints from customers alleging they are suffering from food poisoning, an EHO threatens you with legal action over food safety failures following an inspection or a customer’s slips on a wet floor and is taken to hospital for treatment. These are not every day occurrences so you may well need help and assistance to manage the situation to ensure a positive outcome for you, your staff, your customers and your business. We can provide you with: Immediate access to an Environmental Health Professional (EHP) for help and advice A site visit by an EHP to undertake a full investigation into the Food Safety or Health and Safety incident / complaint helping to identify the cause and any immediate remedial and corrective action. Help with the general management of the incident and liaison with enforcement agencies including EHO, HSE, or the Media etc. Undertake any reporting and notifications under RIDDOR following a reportable workplace injury, diseases, or dangerous occurrences.
